Can P0102 be thrown when the MAF harness was disconnected with engine running at idle for lets say about 10seconds to troubleshoot.

Vehicle: 2000, Volkswagen, Jetta,2.0l

P0102 MAF circuit low input

Yes it can there is a constant reference voltage to the MAF the ECM looks for opens, short ,grounds, The moment it gets disconnected is the moment the CK ENG LT will come on.
