2006 Nissan X-Trail Columbia 2.2L Diesel what is VG33E?

I have an x-trail. I am trying to find out if it is a dCi?
It is a Columbia model.
I cannot find the informtion on the documentation and it does not have a name / letters on the rear
The front transfer box is cracked (I have no idea how) so I need to know this information for buying a replacement unit

you will have to look the VIN number tag near the engine bay or near the driver door jam 

and look for the TRANS and that will be the number you need.
