Is adaptor cable needed for 2003 Nissan Frontier when using your U480 reader?

I just purchased a U480 reader from your website to read and erase codes on it while troubleshooting. Will I need to purchase an adaptor cable? This reader should plug right in, correct? Thanks

Vehicle: 2003, Nissan, Frontier SC. VG33ER engine (3.3 liter)

It pluged in to the OBD-II port to adapters needed
