i have a PO505 idle malfunction error. Too it to a Toyota Mac and he says that the O2 Sensor is faulty. Is this possible? can the O2 sensor cause a PO505 error?

Symptoms :
1) Hesitation when take off
2)Jerking when acceleration
3) Losing power especially up-hill

I have already changed the Fuel Pump, fuel filter (as per the mac that was causing the problem and now its the O2 sensor)

I don't want to keep spending money on his guessing.

Please assist.

Vehicle: 2002, Toyota Corolla 140i GLE
