P0505 Honda - accord

1997 accord 2.2 4 cyl. engine revs from idle to approximately 1500 rpm only in park and only occasionally. throws code p0505.

P0505 Idle air control system malfunction

Check for vacuum leaks that will also cause this P0505,and the coolant level.You may want to do a IAC or throttle body cleaning to see if the problem is resolved , other than that this is for the IAC valve malfunctioning.
