HI there,

P0301 is a misfire code for cylinder #1. Normally a single cylinder misfire will not keep a vehicle from starting. It could however indicate that the vehicle has worn spark plugs which, if all were worn out could cause a no start condition. I would check the plugs and then check for fuel and spark to determine which is missing.
