I have a 2000 Cadillac Seville 4.6L with code C1253

C1253 Normal force malfunction

This code set a Service Stability Sytem. If this is the only code that you have the ECBM (Elelctronic brake control moduel) will disable the rough road detection function and yet the ABS and Traction control will remain functional. What becmes faulty with this code dondition is the CVRSS ( conitnous variable road sensing ) module.
