have a 2006 chevy uplander code came up P0449.. emeission system vent control circiut intermettint... what does this mean?

HI there,

The system has a vent control valve connected to the charcoal canister. This code means the vent valve isn't closing when the computer runs the self test. In most cases replacing the vent control valve will resolve the problem and the code.
