where is the fuel temperature sensor on a 2011 volkswagen passat so i can check it

Question

When starting my engine this morning i noticed the engine management light had come on. A guy i work with has a diagnostic tool and it came up with the code p0183 which i found to be the fuel temperature sensor A circuit high input.

I would just like to test the sensor and the connection/wiring leading up to it so i know whether or not to replace the sensor but im not sure where it is on the vehicle so i was hoping for some direction.
