Do I have to change the purge valve or this is something not urgent? What consequences would be?

HI there,

If the purge valve is not working properly then you will have issues with filling the tank. It's job is to pull the fuel vapors from the charcoal canister. If this doesn't happen then there won't be anyplace for the fuel vapors to go when you fill the tank and the pump will kick off. As far as any damage to the car, there won't be any.
