P0118 2006 Nissan Sentra -

Hello,

After I replaced the ECT sensor for my 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8L, I forgot to plug in the harness. When I started the engine, the Service Engine Soon warning light showed up. I turned off the engine and plug in the harness. When I started the engine again, the warning light stayed on. How can I turn it off???? I disconnected the battery, but it did not work. Please help! Thank you!

you will have to disconnect the battery for an hour or so, to clear it from the ECU's memory.

P0118 could also mean a stuck or open thermostat, Nissan Sentra's have issue with overheating so I would also replace that
