Could a force regen fix it, due to driving conditions?

Question

Its a 2015 F250 with 5600 miles on it. Why is the egr code up? the only thing I put on the truck is a AFE ram air box, and I put over a 1000 miles on it before the code came up.

try to reset the code and see if it comes back, if it does I would swap the intake back on and take it to the dealer (they might say the intake it causing the issue which might be but not very likely)
