P1870 Transmission componenet slipping.

This code condition occurs when the TCC (torque convertor clutch) slips when it should be engaged, What needs to be done is to remove the transmission pan and inspect for debris, heavy debris will indicate a transmission replacement, if there is bronze colored matertial this will indicate the stator shaft bushing wear, and the torque convertor will need to be replaced.
