my 04 Sentra 1.8s, the a/c has stopped working.

Question

A/C compressor still engaging when turned on, charge is good. Actual hot air, not just ambient temp air comes out of the vents like the heater is on. Code p1279 has come on since this occurred, but I think it's unrelated.

P1279 A / F (airflow) sensor 1

This condition is when the A/F has a slow response what can cause this are intake air leaks, the PCV system ,exhaust leak or the A / F itself, as for the a/c system its unrelated low freon charge , a heater blend door that does not close properly can be the cause for the a/c to seem be non operational.
