P0715 Hyundai - changed input speed sensor. still throws code only when hot.

Question

I changed the input speed sensor and it was working perfectly. As soon as the trans gets hot it throws the code and locks itself into 3rd gear. Once it cools off or if it's cold out it works fine. But also sometimes when it's cold it will still throw the code. Can't figure it out?

Hi there

This could indicate there is a problem with the TCM. Once it heats up it's opening the circuit, then as it cools off the circuit returns to normal.
