Does the fuse box next to the battery supply the voltage to the ECM?

There are two 50 amp fuses in the fuse box next to the battery, and I noticed that one of the 50 amp fuses was blown. My van seemed to overheat until I replaced that fuse. Is that a coincidence or is that the fuse that supplies voltage to the ECM?

If a 50 amp fuse was blown that is a major fuse that controls many things, if replacing the fuse fixed the problem it should be good now.
