code CC-ID 031 on 2008 mini cooper s

My Mini Cooper has an engine code CC-ID 031 and would someone know what this means?

CC ID 031 Increased emission

Decrease Fuel tank pressure, check the fuel cap replace is worn , You should also use a scan tool and pull the "P" code

Was a cracked valve cover as problem persisted after gas cap replacement. Thanks for your input though.

CC -  ID 031 code that tripped my check engine light in my 2008 mini s had to do with emissions and was a cracked valve cover but a loose or bad gas cap will trough same code.
