what would engine codes p1297 and p0108 mean on a 96 dodge caravan with the 3.0v6?

had oil starvation to the front 3 cylindars. replaced head and all new gaskets the whole nine. put it all back together and it acts like vaccum. idles rough winds up even harder like it chokes and coughs. it gives me codes p0108 and p1297 which refers to MAP sensor failure. when running the manifold gets very hot very fast. would changing this sensor just be the wisest and most direct plan of action here?
