P0300 Oldsmobile -

Question

My car starts u fine but will shut off if I take my feet off the pedal the engine has a loud code PO300 are showing up someone changed my oil and didn't tighten the oil filter had the car engine running then my car shut off by it's self all the oil was on the grond he said he didn't have it running long before it shut off but that's when all the problem started when he tryed to change the oil

P0300 Random misfire

If you have to keep your foot on the pedal to maintain the idle you have an idle control problem, the IAC is a stepper motor that maintains a target RPM, as long as there is no rough idle the IAC will resolve the situation.
