2005 scion xb keeps shutting off when i put it in drive or reverse

P0113 Intake air temperature (IAT) circuit high input

The IAT sensor is installed in the MAF (mass air flow) unit, The IAT will not cause the vehicle to stall out. because this sensor is part of the MAF it does and will affect engine idle performance and running performance.
