2001 Nissan Quest turns off when put it drive or reverse. Coded: gear 2 incorrect ratio and knock sensor. Can you help?

Could you please provide the code number?

The knock sensor will not cause the engine to stall. For the other code you could start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition. Replaced fluid if necessary.
