Question

What would cause the engine to sometimes run fine and other times surge and/ or stall? Intermittent problem on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L

Have you checked for intake leaks? if so and none are found check/replace the spark plugs if you have not done so, you can also try to remove the sensor 2 oxygen sensor on bank 1 (some people have had issues with power steering leaking on the sensor)
