I also have a code p1744. After shifting manually back up to drive it shifts but hard. The OD is another concern. The button is on the shifter but it does not turn on, blink, do anything. Could it be a power supply problem? Thanks in advance...

P0756 Shift solenoid No.2 function failure

P1744 TCC (torque convertor clutch) slippage detected

If the OD switch is non op it could just be the whole switch, the way the wire are routed it tends to break after time. As for P0756 this is the SS2 which is turn on for 2nd gear, you can also have set this code by manually shifting the transmission. A KOER (Key on engine running) may help with the exact problem , This particular year  some of the Ford 4R44E or 4R55E did not have a diagnostic feedback with the transmission. For this type of fix you may need to do the valve body with a new set of solenoids.
