our 2008 ford fusion four cyl, has P0128, thermostate is probable cause. The garage said the tstate is an expensive assembly, is that the only way to repair it, isnt there just the tstate avail? advise please

The thermostat is serviced as an assembly. there is no way just to get a thermsotat by itself.
