I got the engine code P0705 on my 2001 Ford Winstar SEL 3.8L

I have a 2001 Ford Winstar SEL 3.8L, what would make the OD/off light to blink in park and go off about 30 seconds after I put it in gear? The abs and brake light come on when they want to.

The code P0705 is a code for the transmission range sensor. This is unrelated to the abs light. The range sensor is on the transmission under the shift linkage.
