The day before I went to get my oil changed my "service engine light soon" light came on. The mechanic acutually read the code for me which was P0744.

( P0744- torgue converter clutch circuit intermittent)

Although, I have only had the car for a couple of years I had not had a tune up on it because I hadnt reached the miles yet. Not the vehicle is at about 71k miles and Its probably time. When I drive the car on the highway it has a problem with shifting into gear at around 60- 65 miles per hour. The rpm seems to be at around 3 -3.5 while trying to shift. Locally around town I don't have this issue. I am going to get my car checked out and do a full diagnostic. What would be the recommendation for service with the code and problems I explained? How much should I expect to pay?

Nissan has extended the warranty for the CVT transmissions 10 years/120,000 miles

the whole transmission might be replaced, which is free of charge
