P0301 Honda -

Question

2005 4cyl accord, 240K miles. Has in the past occasionally misfired on startup for a second or two. Always smoothed out immediately. Recently misfires on all startups, then will smooth out in five seconds. Now will intermittantly misfire on multiple or ALL cylinders for an instant then all fire normally. This now happens while driving 10 -20 times in a half hour of driving and can be frequent for a minute or two at a time. Typical of any driving conditions. Any ideas what is going on?

if you have already replaced the spark plugs which is probably the first set, I would swap the ignition coils around to see if the code goes to another cylinder,

if you have not had the valve adjusted I would say that is another possibilty that will cause the issue.
