The service engine light is on and stays. what do I have to fix when this code appears and about how much will it cost me? Its a 24 Sentra Nissan 1.8 liter

depends what the exact problem is

I would start by doing an ECM Self-Learning procedure (see link below or disconnect battery for an hour or so)
