(mil) no crank/run

i found a wire disconnected from the etc/ecm circuit at the back of the fuse block. If disconnected i can crank the car in neutral and drive it all day. reconnect the wire and the car will not crank / run in any gear what could be my problem?

Vehicle: 2012 Chevrolet Impala Lt 3.6l V6 Flex fuel
