2003 Lexus ES300 3.0L with engine code P0345, how can you tell if this sensor is bad?

if there is not issue with the battery, starter or charging system most likely its the camshaft position sensor. But the wiring or ECM should be checked too

Possible causes

- Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor

- Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted

- Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

- Faulty starter motor

- Starting system circuit

- Dead (Weak) battery
