P2004 Mazda -

Question

I have a 2003 Mazda with error code P2004 I have had it at 2 different dealers and ended up paying over $600.00 and the problem is still not fixed.
What can I do my car when I am sitting at a light feels like its going to stall and sometimes has stalled. It runs fine when I am driving just at the idle is terrible

if the dealer charges you for a repair and says that the repair is going to fix the issues and it doesn't you should call mazda consumer affairs.

what did they replace? 

 

Possible causes

- Faulty VTC Shutter valve actuator (Stuck open)

- Missconnecting or pull out the vacuum hose

- Faulty Variable tumble solenoid valve 

- Variable tumble solenoid valve harness is open or shorted

- Variable tumble solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection
