Can I wash and clean the catalic convertor is it gonna help to check engine light goes away?

Hi there,

This will not help with the code. In most cases the converter simply cannot clean the exhaust enough to make the computer happy. It is possible that the issue is with the rear O2 sensor, but it's not common.
