Dealership claimed these codes were found. P0700 TCC Solenoid and P9 741 TCC PWM Solenoid. The Transmission is not shifting well and has the indicators of a Solenoid issue. These codes though do not match the list provided on this site.
They wanted $800 to fix this issue, also saying I had to replace the fluid and filter as most of the fluid would be drained.
I brought my Hummer home would like to find the parts myself and either do it myself or shop around for a more reasonable price. Should I recheck the codes?
Did they tell you that the $800 fix was? replace the torque converter clutch solenoid valve? replace the valve body?
p0741 is for the torque converter clutch solenoid valve (ACDELCO Part # 24227792 $32 or so online DOUBLE CHECK THE PART NUMBER with your VIN number at dealer parts department please)
who replaced the transmission fluid? the dealer?
In order to do replace the torque converter clutch solenoid valve the transmission pan will have to be removed again
