What does the p2118 mean on a 2006 Toyota Avalon? How can I fix it?

P2118 Throttle actuator control motor current range / performance

The ETC (Electronic throttle control) has is own power supply circuit ,when the power for the ETC is lower than expected the (less than 4 volts) ,the ETC becomes unstable as a result the ECM cuts off current to the ETC, If a repair is made to the ETC or ignition is turned off and restarted the system goes to normal . Check for other code that are with P2118, what some of the cause for this code condition are poor connection at the ETC, and very rarely a ECM problem
