1996 Ford Ranger XL 2.3L with engine code P0761. Changed shift solenoid upper and lower valve body gaskets new internal wiring harness fluid filter still get P0761 why?

P0761 Shift solenoid 3 function failure

What cause shift solenoid failure are also hydralic failrures, Upper and lower valve body gasket,?  Some of the gasket for the upper and lower may not be compatable with the seperator plate, there has been revised seperator plates for the the upper and lower gaskets, resulting in seperating plates need replacement when the gasket are to be replaced.
