P0562 Ford - 2002 excursion diesel

Engine light on, code 380 indicated. Changed GPCM, light out. Week later truck acted as if it was missing and died a few miles later. Engine light did not return, however code reader indicated PO562 and 381. Will now start, but runs rough and not much power. Acts like not enough fuel.

P0562 System voltage low

P0380 Glow plug indicator  circuit malfunction

P0381 Glowplug circuit malfunction

Battery voltage should be check first, this can cause P0380 and P0381, P0562 has to be diagnosed first ,with a low voltage system you can expect to have rough idles, check the fuses some can be open and will cause this condition , You will also need to have a scan tool that can check "B" code or Body codes, a failing ignition swith can also result in  P0562
