P1626 GMC -Truck starts runs a second than dies.

Question

I have an 04 gmc sierra v6. My son messed with some wires and now it will only start and run for a second than dies. I have put a new fuel pump, battery, and tried to reset the computer and radio. It is still showing the code p1626. It is a very basic truck manual windows and door locks. Any ideas on how to bypass this code?

P1626 Vehicle theft deterent is enabled

You can can put the system through the long tamper mode  cycle. Which will require about 10 minutes in order to do a complete learn cycle.Put the ignition switch in the run position until the security tell tale stops flashing.Then start the vehicle.
