HELLO, COULD THIS BE A COMPUTER PROBLEM, I am getting codes that were never there before, like p0102, p0300,p1345,p1626,u1041 and u1192. I did change out the ckp sensor, replaced the distributor set the timing at 0, and am having a hell of a time keeping it running with a lot of missing and back firing. Reran the wires and the firing order, and am at a loose. Any help ?

Best answer

P0102 MAF (mass air flow ) circuit low'

P0300 Random misfire

P1345 Crankshaft position (CKP)- camshaft postion (CMP) correlation

P1626 Theft deterent fuel enable signal not recieved

U1041 Loss of EBCM (electronic brake control module) communication

U1192 Loss of communication with VTD

For now do a recheck on the distributor there is 2 scenerio that is occuring the Anti-theft is causing the no start. Or the crank-cmp correlation is causing all this. Bring the engine to its number 1 top dead compression and at the harmonic balancer there is a mark with the timing cover line it up . and on the distributor cap mark the number 1 cylinder location to the distributor the  rotor should line up with the number 1 position  on the distributor cap if not you will need to satisfy code P1345. When you reinstall the distributor you will need a long screw driver to position the oil drive pump which always interfer with the installation of the distrubutor .turn it in a position till the distributor cap be   lined up with the distributor cap.  position for the number one cylinder.Clear the codes, disconnect the battery and reconnect. Start the engine  If the engine does stay running  as long as the engine can idle for now as a test only disable the anti-theft acces the ignition switch there are 3 wires red/white and yellow and black orange. cut the yellow wire in a area where a wire repair can be made to reinstate the anti-theft. The engine has to be at idle for this to work. From this point the anti thft light appears but is now disable you should be able to shut the engine off and restart, Check for code again and this time the Anti-theft will not be able to inerfere .
