2011 Mercedes Benz C-class 180 with code P0710

2011 Mercedes Benz C-class 180 W204 gear leaver stuck on Park but shows N on display. Diagnostics show 0710 code. Releasing the gear lever from park does not register on the display. What might be the problem?

Sounds like the problem in the shifter lever, but the P0710 code is not related to the problem. The P0710 is for the Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor.
