P0457 2003 Ford F150 -

Question

Intake Manifold upper gaskets changed on a 03 F150 sport 4.2l V6, two weeks later the p0457 code came up, first with the service engine soon light on.I changed the gas cap to one that was not throwing a code. Code was shut off then came back on a week later without the service engine soon light, lost power going up a hill with my foot to the floor the next day, then light came on. P0457 was the only code.

I would recheck all the work and see if everything is connected back correct and there are no cracked or broken hoses
