2007 Mazda Miata MX-5 engine revved when gas pedal was decellerated.

Hi there,

This code is for the throttle position sensor. This usually only shows the position of the throttle, when bad it's not likely it would cause the engine speed to increase. This is because it's really only monitoring the position of the throttle. To open it would actually have to be opened.
