Question

can't afford dealer's $95 hourly computer charge to look at it. adv auto once told me fuel filter so I changed it- no good. they reset lite & I get about a week before it comes back on. Po171 & P0174 supposed to be bank 1 & bank 2 "lean". truck seems to run fine even though 16 mpg sucks for a v6. help ...

The number one  cause of this code condition especially since t take one week before you have the code come back is to perform a MAF cleaning. with this it advisable to check for a tune up,such as replacing the sparkplug and air filter if needed.
