Question

Replaced MAP sensor. Scanner will clear one of the two PO107codes but not both. Code returns almost immediately. Map sensor is new. What in the world could the problem be?

P0107 MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) circuit low input

This code condition is the refference voltage to the MAP sensor, what can cause this code condition is the EGR valve shorting. Disconnect the EGR, by doing so you will code a EGR circuit high code condition , if the MAP code condition is satisified replace the EGR valve.
