Car repair place told us it was a software update issue that should have been taken care before we bought it (we've had it for one month) and vw dealership claims it is a faulty valve and wants to charge us $425. This is after the transmission blew 12 hours after we got it home, and they supposedly 'rebuilt' the transmission. Help!

There is no such code like that. try to use a different OBD-II to read the code, the one you are using is not compatible with your car
