My Nissan Pathfinder 2007 smokes, is not stable and not performing at top speed. what could be the cause

Hi there,

I think the 2 codes you are going for here is P0011 and P0022. When you have both of these codes at the same time, the first thing to do is check the oil. These codes are for the variable intake timing control solenoids. IF the engine is low on oil, these cannot work properly. You will have a loss of power if the solenoids are not advancing the timing.

If the oil is good, then the timing itself may be off.
