My 07 f250 6.0 has issues starting up after glow plug lite goes off. If I try and start my truck,(hot or cold start) before waiting at least 10 sec the starter will turn over at least 10 times before it will start. If I wait at least 10 seconds it generally starts up within 2-3 revolutions. Truck runs great with great fuel mileage. The only code I am seeing is P0069, I replaced the MAP sensor and cleared the "check engine" but it tells me "pending" so check engine lite is still on. I really don't feel this is an issue, truck runs too good. I had truck in shop (not dealer) to fix the hard start but they gave up after after replacing FICM, DUMMY PLUGS, HIGH PRESSURE OIL PUMP, ALL HIGH PRESSURE "0" RINGS, STARTER, EXHAUST BACK PRESSURE SENSOR AND 8 FUEL INJECTORS!!! I still have this hard start...Any ideas? Thank you for any input that you are willing to share.

P0069 MAP - Barometric pressure correlation

When you get MAP code condition the PCM uses a calculated estimated manifold pressure based on known engine condition. The MAP does not cause hard start up it is used to calculate fuel quantity for engine boost. The Baometric pressure sensor is used to calculate the injection timing and the glow plug control . Use a scan tool and compare the BARO and and your altitutde, if it is not correct replace the BARO.
