P1133 GMC - Does this need to be fixed immediately?

Engine light is not on. Can I wait until I take the vehicle for regular maintenance? Before emission testing?

Hi there,

This code most often is the result of a faulty heated O2 sensor. Normally you can drive with this code without causing any damage to the engine. You may notice a reduction in fuel mileage but in most cases you won't even notice that.
