Emmisions test error message question below

Emission system upstream Oxygen -sensor in model 2008 ML550 would it show the following error when Emissions performs diagnostics diagnostic trouble code 0358 Ignition Cil H Primary / Secondary Circuit Malfunction?

Hi there,

This code is basically for a misfire on cylinder 8 and the code means there is an issue with the coil. In most cases the coil is the cause of the problem. Since the vehicle only comes as an 8 cylinder, I am not sure why you say it's a 6. However, you can try swapping the #8 coil with one of the others and see if the misfire moves with it as well. If it does, replace the coil
