how do I check to see if my new input speed senor is getting power to the senor I install. my code reader says it has no signal.

P0722 Output speed sensor (OSS) signal intermittent

This code condition is for the output speed sensor or the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) . One way to know if the OSS is working is by verifying the speedometer is working or the cruise control. There is only 2 wire form the OSS you would do a AC voltage test back probe the back harness side to its OSS (+) and back probe the OSS (-) at around 15 MPH you should have 1.5 VAC as the speed increses the VAC should increase and at 25 MPH you should have 2.5 VAC.
