2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L engine when dead at red light started back up check engine light came on checked code p0129.

P0129 MAP (manifold absolute Pressure) sensor out of range low.

Map sensor code condition results in stumbing on acceleration rather than stall the engine and starts right back up. A fault in the EGR that stick open can result in a MAP sensor code condition. Clear the code if this fault code comes back replace the MAP sensor and inspect the airfilter condition replace if necessary.
